Dating back to the early 1900s, the historic Carriage Works consists of two red brick buildings, a four-story building, and an adjacent three-story building.

The two connected buildings of The Carriage Works complex is approximately 65,000 square feet in size. Features throughout the building include 14-foot ceilings, exposed red brick, and heavy wood timbers. The electrical and mechanical systems are all exposed. Large windows, approximately four by six feet, are located throughout the building projecting a bright, airy feeling.

In May 1992, The Carriage Works received the Best Community Impact Award for renovation/rehabilitation. This award was given by Ernst & Young and the Atlanta Business Chronicle for Best Real Estate deals of 1991.

The Carriage Works is listed on the National Register of Historic places.
