The scope of work included the renovation and restoration of the exterior building skin, structural modifications, and interior renovation and restoration of the public spaces of the Georgia State Capitol building.

Throughout all phases of work at the Georgia State Capitol, Winter’s team applied decades of experience in renovation/restoration work, making this an award-winning project.  Historic restorations began by following written documentation and photos from previous centuries as a guide in replicating the original design.

The renovation and restoration work was performed in multiple phases as the building remained fully occupied and in normal use during all of our work.
