Winter completed the 280,000 square-foot structural renovation and new construction project at Maynard Jackson High School.

The new construction consists of a mechanical addition, kitchen expansion, and new 16,000 square-foot gymnasium, which includes one performance court and two practice courts.

The renovated main two-story classroom building was designed to hold 1,200 students and includes science and technology labs as well as standard classrooms. In order to accommodate the school’s new International Baccalaureate program, expanded music areas for the band and orchestra were constructed in addition to dance and drama rooms. Another intricate part of the renovation included remedial work of the existing green roof.
