(June 16, 2017) ATLANTA, GA-Winter Construction has topped out the new seven-story, 173- key hotel in the historic River Street area of Savannah, Georgia. With more than 175 attendees, the event celebrated the superstructure being completed and all of the hard work of the company, its partners, and subcontractors.
The 412 Williamson Street hotel property spans an entire city block, and the hotel includes two
levels of parking and retail space, and a total of 162,000 square feet. The hotel’s layout includes
five levels of guest rooms, a fitness area, meeting space, a pool, a lobby bar, a restaurant on River
Street, and a rooftop event space and bar. The architect is Gunn Meyerhoff Shay, and the interior
designers are FODA and Parts & Labor.

Brent Reid, CEO of Winter Construction, stated that the topping out ceremony was a fun and
exciting celebration of this unique hotel. “It’s so rewarding to see the progress of this beautiful
building, and the topping out signifies a major milestone towards the hotel’s completion. It’s also an
honor to be part of the River Street landscape, adding to the richness of Savannah’s Historic
District.”
