(May 18, 2016) Atlanta, GA – Fulton County Schools has selected Winter Construction to renovate and upgrade its Community Based Instruction (CBI) services in five high schools in metropolitan Atlanta. The five schools are Centennial High School, Creekside High School, Johns Creek High School, Milton High School, and North Springs Charter High School.
The project, part of the second phase of the CBI Project Expansion, will enable Fulton County Schools to provide new CBI services at the five schools for participating students, who have had to travel to one of the select schools that previously offered these services. Winter will renovate classrooms and construct new accessible restroom facilities for the CBI programs. All five locations will be completed concurrently during summer break, 2016. The architect is Sy Richards Architect, Inc.

This project continues the long-standing relationship Winter Construction has with Fulton County Schools. Most recently, Winter Construction completed the Fulton County Schools Administration Building and North Learning Center, which is one of many fast-track, multiple locations projects that Winter has delivered successfully over the years.
Winter has decades of K-12 new construction and renovation experience and expertise. The commercial general contractor is currently working on projects for Cobb County Schools’ Alan C. Pope High School, Atlanta Public Schools’ Crawford Long Middle School and William Boyd Elementary School, Atlanta International School, and Mount Vernon Presbyterian School.
