Winter completely renovated the Frank K. Houston Building into the new 42,000 square-foot Student Center Commons for Georgia Tech. The renovation transformed the building into a two-story gathering place for students, including community spaces, study and gathering areas, dining facilities, retail spaces, meeting areas, and a student radio station. Winter adhered to a fast-track schedule with strict conditions due to the project’s well-traveled location on the campus. The retail spaces, campus post office, and other common areas remained open and operational throughout construction.
