Winter has provided construction management services to build new anchor stores and renovate existing stores in ten different retail facilities.

Nordstrom at the Mall of Georgia was the first store in the southeast to incorporate Nordstrom’s new design, targeted toward younger consumers. This 165,000 square-foot store was completed in March 2000, and Winter has completed 9 others since, in addition to three Nordstrom Rack stores.

Nordstrom stores average 170,000 square feet. All stores feature large display windows and a clerestory and a skylight at the escalator. Each skylight is complimented by a 58-foot back-lit entrance tower with a formed metal cupola. They also feature a 113-seat cafe on the second level and an eBar/coffee bar on the first level at the mall entrance.
