Winter renovated 360,000 square feet at Benjamin E. Mays High School, a LEED® Silver project consisting of new construction and structural renovations.

Winter and the Architect adjusted to changes in the project required by Atlanta Public Schools’ standards, but not supported with a budget increase. The project team also adjusted to 16 weeks in City permit delays with no time extensions allowed.

Winter and the Architect used staggered scope releases to keep the construction moving forward and allow for additional value engineering efforts.
