Winter worked closely with Gilmer County on this multi-phase project of the new 112,000 square-foot, ground-up courthouse facility. The project includes a 911 center, District Attorney offices, superior, state, and juvenile courtrooms, jury assembly rooms, the Sheriff’s office, and inmate holding areas. The project included new civil and infrastructure systems to accommodate the new courthouse. Additional roadwork and secured parking areas for the judges was installed after the completion of the courthouse. Winter provided construction management services for Gilmer County during both sitework and building construction phases. Services performed for Gilmer County included subcontractor bidding and solicitation, development of project master schedule, safety and quality control plan, subcontractor management, schedule assurance, project status reporting, documentation control, safety and quality management, close-out, and commissioning.
