Winter built the free-standing, two-story restaurant for Maggiano’s. The building includes a basement-level, cast-in-place concrete parking garage; the first floor of the restaurant is cast-in-place pan slab; the roof is a single-ply mechanically fastened membrane; and the remainder of the restaurant is structural steel with a masonry skin. The site includes moderate above-ground parking and extremely high retaining walls, some of which are located adjacent to an existing church. The first floor houses a Corner Bakery store with outdoor seating, a beautiful Maggiano’s branded-dining area with ample seating, and a well-equipped kitchen to service the main dining room as well as private parties. The second floor features a small banquet room. This project was completed on time and on budget.
