The Snellville Police Department consists of a 34,000 square-foot, two-story building situated on 2.1 acres. The building is a steel frame structure with a brick and cast stone veneer. The facade features a curved stone entry and coped parapet with curtain wall facing the corner to highlight a future roundabout. Site development included an underground detention system, a security and intrusion system, secured parking, security lighting, and ornamental fencing. The primary focus of the building program is a mix of public and secure space. The building has conference rooms, an evidence locker area, a muster room, private offices, holding cells, interview rooms, CID, forensic lab, exercise rooms, canine kennels, and armory compound.
