The police precinct is a 5,000 square-foot structure with various offices, interview rooms, a break room, locker and restrooms, an intoximeter room, evidence and ammo rooms, and a roll call room.
The exterior wall construction is load-bearing concrete block with brick veneer. The roof system is a single-ply, mechanically attached membrane over 3” rigid insulation placed on steel deck and structural bar joists.
The recreation center is a two-story, 45,000 square-foot facility with two gymnasiums, a suspended running track, a fitness center, shower/locker facilities, classrooms, offices, and an outdoor pool.
Construction of the recreation area consisted of masonry walls, storefront, steel joists and deck, wood and athletic flooring, epoxy resinous flooring for wet areas, standing seem roofing, single-ply rubberized roofing system, gas fire boilers, HVAC with an energy maintenance system, and a fire alarm with a voice evacuation system.
